MDU ROHTAK PROGRAMMES SYLLABUS   Note: 1. There will be 70 multiple choice question (MCQ’s) I n the question paper consisting of one mark each.Students are required to attempt all the question 2. Internal assessment marks shall be given on the basis of marks secured by candidate in the descriptive examination to be conducted by the respected study centre . Study centre are required to keep the record of the descriptive examination with them for inspection by the University. The marks of Internal assessment must be subimitted to the University before the terminations of the University Examination in concerned subjects. In the event of non receipt of the internal assessment marks of the theory marks secured by the candidate shall be proportionately enhanced.  Objective A candidate can get admission in this programme after 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline. After completion of this  course, a student can do Master's degree in Computer Science / IT, like Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or  Master of Science (Computer Science).   After completing this course, a student can get the job of programmer, analyst, web site developer etc. in both  government and private sectors.  Eligibility  A candidate seeking admission to BCA programme should be 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline.  Course fee   Rs. 10,000/-per semester inclusive of exam fees. In addition Rs. 300/- will be charged as one time registration fee.  Duration   It is a three years programme comprising six semesters but the student will have to complete this programme within a  maximum period of six years. Mode of Imparting Learning  Theory & Practical classes of 180 hours will be held at the approved study centres. Study material in Self-Instructional  Module (SIM) will be provided to the students along with CD containing full contents of the course at the concerned  study centre.
